Youth Engagement Facilitator

Pattie has been instructing yoga and mindfulness in Fort McMurray for over a decade. Mindfulness is an important aspect of health and wellness and she believes a mindfulness practice can create more space in one’s life regardless of age, gender or profession. Pattie has over 10,000 hours of experience in this field.

Currently, Pattie is the Youth Engagement Facilitator and Community Helpers Coordinator at Some Other Solutions. As the Youth Engagement Facilitator, she creates and teaches leadership programs for young people in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, and as the Community Helpers coordinator, she instructs basic mental health sessions for a variety of participants including youth and adults.

Pattie has extensive training in health and wellness – in addition to her current position with Some Other Solutions, she is a certified yoga instructor and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Lethbridge, as well as a Visual and Performing Arts Diploma from Keyano College.
