One of the biggest challenges in modern family life is dealing with stress. Stress has a negative effect on our parenting. When we feel stressed, we may react more impulsively to our children, such as becoming angry more easily, short-tempered with them or worrying instead of having faith in their potential for personal growth.
Introduction to Mindful Parenting is a two-part workshop covering:
automatic parenting
reconnecting with our body as a parent
effects of childhood experiences on parenting
Who is this course for?
Mindful Parenting is for all families including families struggling with a period of heightened stress due to the high demands of parenting, which impacts on their parenting and their relationships with children and partners.
